Drink // Summer Mocktails with Feel Good Drinks

Since I began eating healthier, I’ve seriously switched my mindset when it comes to food, but I’m yet to do the same with drinks. Like most of us, I look forward to a gin and tonic at the end of the working week, a glass of wine with dinner and prosecco when celebrating (or generally lazing on the sofa!).

However, Feel Good Drinks got in touch recently asking if I’d like to sample their latest collection of drinks – namely their Infusions range, I jumped at the chance! The flavours sounded great and I couldn’t wait to try them out! I was really pleasantly surprised to find a variety of flavoured water drinks.

The Infusions range includes x3 flavours –

  • Strawberry & Mint
  • Lemon & Elderflower
  • Apple & Rose

So, I set myself a challenge – give up the drink for one weekend and see how I got on drinking soft drinks only! I know, I know, it doesn’t sound like that much of a big deal – but as someone who looks forward to that end-of-the-week drink, I wanted to see how I got on….

Well, surprisingly well actually! The Strawberry & Mint drink tastes very similar to a mojito, which was a very welcome surprise. It’s a very fruity drink, whilst thoroughly refreshing at the same time!

I decided to go all in and pile my glass high with fruit, to infuse the flavours of lemon, apple and blackberries with the Strawberry and Mint infusions drink. It was delicious and once I’d worked my magic to make my drink look #instagrammable, I didn’t feel like I was missing out!

Next up, was the Apple and Rose. The rose flavouring is really prominent, which you wouldn’t expect but it added a certain summin’ summin’ to my drink and once I’d thrown in a handful of strawberries, it became my instant go-to!
