Today is a proper rainy day. We’ve watched the match, eaten pain au chocolates warmed and stayed firmly under blankets. I had big plans to get out today on a long walk. I don’t mind rainy weather; I firmly believe there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes.
But, my body is telling me to have s lazy day. So I thought I’d share a few of my fave rainy day activities with you!
Four ways to spend a rainy day
1. Meal planning. Here me out on this one. If you’re not a big fan of cooking or you don’t tend to plan the weeks meals in advance, give it a go! I love looking though my cookbooks and getting inspo. Plus it saves faffing after work too!
2. Binge a new TV series. I am a proper telly addict. At this time of year, I spend the dark evenings watching a series or three. There’s so many good ones to watch, why not! So far this year I’ve watched the following and would recommend them all!

3. Pamper yourself! A rainy afternoon is the perfect day to run the bath, do a face mask or paint your nails! I love a long lazy bath, listening to a podcast and then putting fresh pjs on.
4. Give journaling a go. I’m doing this for the first time this year and so far, I’m sticking to it! As part of health kick and challenge to walk 1000 miles this year, I’ve decided to journal all my walks to look back on it at the end of the year. I’m really enjoying it and there’s less pressure than keeping a diary.
