Last weekend I made my first trip into town for quite a while. After the last year, going out into has dropped on my list of things I like to do. Mainly cos it’s SO busy. But, last Sunday off I trotted with a very good reason in tow….to visit Oh Me Oh My for autumnal afternoon tea with my mum!
I booked it a while ago as I thought it would be a nice activity for us to do in the lead-up to Christmas and it looked really nice. A proper treat. And with the venue only open for booking only, it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere in a gorgeous building!

What’s included with afternoon tea?
I opted for the vegetarian option, whilst my mum had the meat options. It was really delicious, and you could tell a lot of thought had been put into the veggie options.
The afternoon tea included:
- Coronation chickpea and coronation chicken sandwiches
- Beetroot hummus sandwich
- Egg mayo, cress and truffle oil
- Cheese and chive
- Baked halloumi with mango chutney
And then the sweet section:
- Creme brulee with autumna, fruits
- The classic scone – jam or cream first?
- Raspberry and chocolate macaron, SO delicious!
And I loved my outfit on this day. It’s always a celebration when my green faux fur comes back out to play! Paired with my Somerset by Alice Temperly jumpsuit and converse, I felt so me!
