I love discovering new dog walks in and around where we live, is one of my favourite things to do and walks in summer are a firm fave! So I thought I’d share a roundup of recent walks that we’ve loved lately.
West Kirby beach and marine lake
Beach days are the best days! We visited West Kirby by train on a warm yet overcast Sunday aka perfect Frenchie weather! It’s such a gorgeous beach. We would have walked out to Hilbre Island if we had arrived earlier as the sun was coming out and I didn’t wany to risk little legs overheating!

Crosby beach
A North Liverpool fave. We love visiting Crosby beach all year round and only this particular day, again it was warm but overcast, aka the perfect day for dog walkers! We had a long run along the beach and then through the dunes on our way back. Lovely!

Speke and Garston coastal reserve
This was an early morning walk before work during the recent heatwave that we had. I think a lot of people sleep on the Speke and Garston coastal reserve but it’s a lovely walk and really peaceful, especially if you time it right!

Otterspool Prom
Come rain or shine, Otterspool prom is a lovely walk, whether you want to ramp your steps up or just take a stroll with the fam. There’s also lots of wild flowers growing along the grassy areas from the red bull down to the Otterspool Adventure, which look gorgeous.
