Easter Roast Sandwiches, The Romans, Otterspool Prom

I think we can all agree this is another Easter weekend that’s slightly different to our usual. With family time being spent outdoors and the weather being delightful but not as hot as we anticipated, al fresco dining needs rethinking.

Luckily, the guys down at The Romans have done that for us! The Romans is a new eatery down at Otterspool Prom, the red cow end and their ethos is to deliver ‘brutally good food.

Using the finest and freshest ingredients and local independent suppliers from across Liverpool, I’m excited to see what else they have in store!

Veggie Easter roast dinner sandwich

Yep. You don’t need to read that again. They’ve conquered roast dinner sandwiches and they asked if I’d like to review the veggie option, which I obviously said yes to! With meat and gluten free options available too, I was excited to get stuck in!

The team offer home delivery too, so this deligh arrived direct to our front door which is a great touch. Or you can pick on up on your weekend walk with the family.

You’ll get a sourdough sandwich with roasted veggies, including roast potatoes and a side of a tomato, basil, seasoned dip which complimented the contents perfectly. Plus, in the words of Ross Gellar, the dip added the perfect moist maker meaning its the perfect bank holiday sandwich!

Trust me. Give this a go. Seasoned well-cooked veggies on fresh thick bread. Chefs kiss!

Visit The Romans

The Romans are open for collection at the moment and will be offering outdoor dining, when it’s safe to do so! I can’t wait to head down for a bite to eat on our next prom dog walk!
